Some people are just like voids, they are so poor pitiful me that they suck others down with them no matter where they go and aren't happy until they do so. Then of course there is the flip side where their ego needs people to flock to them so they feel great about themselves, went off there, but that's the void brought about in my mind..haha
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. If I start quoting the cool stuff, I'll never stop. This just rocks!

damn, that last stanza smacks dude...some fine word play through out as well...but that is my fav part by far...
I agree with Mama Zen but I do want to talk about the language. Heavens, I actually felt that little sensuous lilting of the eyelids (almost a tiny fainting fit) over inquilinity. Inosculation is close to one of my favorite words osculant. Thank you very much for checking out my sister sites, especially Chromatoids and leaving a comment!
ReplyDeletePat, yep voids are like people too- kind of a bit of the inspiration here- flappy probably played in there someplace subconsciously as well-lol Thanks
ReplyDeleteMama-
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the piece.
Brian-
Thanks, I like that stanza a lot too
Anna-
Thanks, yeah I can't take too much credit for this piece, have to give the thesaurus a shout out- lol I was looking something up and I already had inoculation down in the first stanza, when I came across inquilinity, which I just loved the sound of it- I think I've come to the point of liking all words with Q's in them-just sayin- I've always like osculation- haha- but the way the word sounds too- and I thought it fitting to include the negation, was going to go in-osculation to add another layer but thought against it. Anyhow, thanks again- really glad you liked it
