NO. RESPIRATION IS NOT THE PROPER TERM.
Ventilation
is what you’re looking for
Respiration
is when glucose breaks down-
In
order to release energy to your cells
YES.
Although uncommon, other carbohydrates will suffice.
Internally
the respiration occurs
Within
the mitochondria, during stages one or two
In
the first- oxygen is not required
The
second-which is the main, it’s required, along strengthened cycles
Moral
of the story:
In some bacteria the oxidant is the nitrate
So
Learn
to ventilate
Before
air becomes a mystery-
A
McGuffin who can’t see the plots it drives.
A science/medical lesson wrapped in a verse, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in many other things, nice rap oh that was corny now I'll close my trap..haha
ReplyDeleteA wonderfully educational verse.

I know I'm strange, but I found this absolutely hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat, little bit of a lesson indeed, but you'll never here shut your trap from me, the rhyming replies are always fun for I
ReplyDeleteMadelanie thanks I appreciate the feedback
Shawna, thanks, glad you enjoyed the piece
Mama,
Not strange. Actually the piece is a combination of things, one part is pretty much standard dictionary reference, obviously there's a metaphor in here as well, but I'm glad you found the humor in here as well, there are a few lines in their that I was hoping to lighten the mood of reading about science, and it deals with a common mistake that's made, from doctors on down. Anyhow, glad you liked the piece and found the humor in it. Thanks again
