And it goes on, and on, and on, and again

Varnishing toxic twirling through
Obviously noxious arcanely strewn
Streamers of dust cloth clear the smoke
Pausing briefly to glimpse a view
Eyes
Follow
patterns

Obligatory hello/goodbye
Good sire do you have the time
Incoherently shutters up
Collapsing time against the cracks
Peer around to see who sees you seeing if they see you see
Slowly backtracking feet in syncope
Slight percussion turns around
Glad it was but a kid
"He's a rest, do you happen to have the time"

The passed out homeless guy scared her not,
yet a well-dressed man asking for the hour
extends her terror

Strenuous the sleeve of skin
Passing moments carving green
Tapestry or blanket shawl
Vacate a premise stalled
Loss of words
Lingo felt
Jargon
Therapy
Stutter
Stutter
Stutter

Jazz
Broken
Rhythm
Creates
New
Pathways
That most likely won't last either...

  1. I knew it would be quite interesting here today after you said you were in a mood. You went all out, like you were shouting your words, very intense piece. A bit on the negative side today too, those meds must be a killer..haha

Pathways....and who cares if they last or not...i'm all up for broken jazz patterns...and they are as fleeting as life itself..

  3. Pat, yeah I was in a weird one for most of yesterday. The onslaught of Pantoums though, snapped me right out of it though, well until I felt like sleeping again. Nah, meds make me mellow, almost drowned out like, but I just had this irkiness to me yesterday I just can't pinpoint. Quirky too, had tons of odd thoughts yesterday. But to all it's own and without the oddities in life you'd never know normal right? lol Thanks again, glad you enjoyed the write
