I don’t know how to talk to you anymore,
The words stumble across my lips
Falling flat
Unabsorbed

I don’t know how to talk with you anymore,
It’s like the needed cipher
Is lost in whispers
Distorted

I don’t know how to talk to you
Your gifts are lost
Your sacristy closed
Meaning gets lost,
Even when you’re right at home

  1. Your poem captures the helpless feelings that come with lack of communication. The line "Your gifts are lost Your sacristy closed" is vivid and heartbreaking. Well done!
