Embryonic Parallels

Analogic
Pantheon of pristine
Unguarded, engulfed
Inquisitors swarm
Revolt

Frozen on the image
Repelling toward

Silence and sequester
Melodramatically fester
Painful corroboration
Unshielded eyes
Crown

Mystic
Exacerbations of self
Vice grip spreading
Wounds steeped
Angst

Embryonic parallels

  8. Daydreamer, oh you're welcome, your site is really good. I enjoy your work very much. Glad you enjoyed this piece. And yeah, life is filled with growing pains. I like that take, wow..complete expansion of my thought process. I wanted to parallel the angst and sometimes downright terrifying notion where we rebel against ourselves, our surroundings, only to evolve and compare it with what a child goes through in its early development. But your interpretation works well too, I like it a lot. And this is exactly why I love me some poetry. It's all about the reader, one interpretation can get you thinking about a piece, even your own in a different context. And in poetry, sure sometimes you have a point you want to make, but when you write in a somewhat cryptic or convoluted style like I do a lot, it's so cool hearing others interpretations- cuz those are the times that get me thinking. Thanks:)

  9. Poetry Potluck, thanks for stopping in, really glad you enjoy this piece and my contributions to yours. I really appreciate all the sites that let us link and share our work to a much more concentrated and specialized viewership. Working on a few this evening, if I don't get them on tonight, sure thing for the morning. Hope you get some extra traffic from here, added you to my poetry list on bottom of each page and put a button up, anyhow thanks again:)
