Quartet of Dragons


A quartet of dragons—
Pink, blue, red and green,
Stutter above and beyond
The interminable chirping
Of the cicada, praying beside
Iron lattices built to bar
Entrance to, the all too,
Ephemeral affinity
Toward pneuma divine

    Liked this one but a tad lost I must say. Is it that small numbers is sometimes all it takes to beat back the odds, no matter the fight or something like that? Least that is the take from the cat.
