Sated!!!
Tales oft told
Under pressure, with
such
Flair, affective as it
may
Find itself to be, the
deadened nerve
In which, observation
etches it’s one true mark, one
Never to ignore, one
overzealous to the touch, a crutch, my
Gluttony! is devoured full.
Gluttony! is devoured full.
Gradations haunt the
varied steps of lost
Realms newly felt,
where cursive slants control the lead
And starts to blush
unto, italicizing its emphasis upon the
Varied spectacles
alive in
You
You
Are
My
Salvation
Salvation
Willingly permitted
Entry to the
Emphatic search for
change
That’s urge had
forever imprisoned you
Pour on the afterglow,
with a glistening tint
Observed as tints that
sparkle
Through
All
That
Overshadows the easily
ignored
Postures held
Inside, where
Enigmas now freely
breathe
Breathing
Enters and
Escapes
The executioners
Severed scape
Forever
Alive,
My
Internal
Light, begins with
You
Voiced
Environs
Grant
Extrinsic
Trembling. Here, our every
Awe, speaking as if
each syllable is our most primal,
Basic to the core, yet
never
Limited as is found in
the neophyte, where knowledge is
Elementary, broadening
each of our experiences, through
Subtleties that shape
the form within
Terror is the basis
for those emotions
Unknown. We shed our skin. We begin anew. A
Reformation clearly
focusing our mental
Kinship towards all
those
Elating fluttering
sidesteps that
You cannot attempt to
comprehend.
Very clever, Fred. You've got a whole smorgasbord going on here! Well done!
ReplyDelete(My clay is made fLesh!) That's okay!
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving too. Your poem certainly implies that you did. I love that you start with stuffing! As that sets a kind of humorous tone to your acrostic. k.
holy cow dude...tour de force of the acrostics....subtleties shape the form within....very cool line man....
ReplyDeleteSuch a flutter does not sputter, much truth to the words you utter. Hope a great holdiay was had at your bay and now the cat will go play after having his say at your say at your bay, say that three times fast on display haha
ReplyDeleteWow, Fred...you really took the acrostic prompt and ran with it! So many different emotions -- whew, well penned!
