A Provenance (Terrain Re-Formed)

Acerbic stenographers astringe notations sharply—
alleviating bite, by renovating the acrid testimonials carved
to mind—honing gently the slashing song—where whispers carve forth
trenchant pleas—pallbearers to the instigating insinuations, guardians of the purulence, rife, when upon mordant lips, the secreting fixations of, yet, another reverence to those that blindly guide their steps of rote, allowing the innuendos, their latent stand, to the government that we know, have known, a priori, perchance, breaking spine over cragged vales, built from self-sustained flowing depositions, aqueous but not in water, instead, in the substance known as blood,

Anted up to and for, the ever-growing populous, prepared in sacrifice, delivered for the ever eluding but finally found, pluperfect fertile plots needed, by and for the contrition and rebirth of this, the endearing soliloquy, as alone, a foundation for what is formed and of what will always be, alive within the compositions housed up inside all the entities deeply affected by this dream, this dream defined as love.

Like the sepal, a parent must fall and leave
once their bud breaks free

She came at him, as if she were the xiphoid, thrashing
wildly, ready to pierce, through wood, flesh or steel

Where Zurvan’s voice is lauded high
and translations proper scintillate the prophecy,
then time and fate are thus realized, not as
the enemy of mortality, but as constructs, devoid
of the emotional absentia of non-particulate cohesions of deign

Of which path proves to find, Quegh in hand, brim to lip, flushing, funding remedies to one’s thirsting space
aftertaste, falsetto’s straining cry, wryly crinkle the abased breath, curtailing to prometaphase—in which, as to where, affectivity submits fruition unto, those echoic wrests and culls anesthetized aware within—self producing vials of relaxation, grifts the flesh of its willful mastery, tranquilizing away all of tensions anti-gifts, paving forward the pathways to a pastel future’s beautifying provenance

Like the epigraph—attached to the blankest page, the one that oft arrives first, before introductions or indices, illuminate what journey borrowed words will play again—meaning staggers upon a skeptics skin—ever eager to prove the story’s premise is as was foretold, if only to eradicate doubt from the perusal within the crevices painting the walls of the minds many precious folds of fate and time.

B Ballad (A Possession in Astral Tongue)

Looking down, I see myself
transitioning from nestled sleep to endless dream

At first I search for the glowing
path…when suddenly a stunning realization
stammers forth it’s surreal flood

Observations stir, until, the form awakes…but you stay adrift
not returning to your shell…and yet, you watch, as it functions still

Following in-flux you float about
staggering the summits with watchful eyes…understanding completely, you haven’t died, you’re alive, but your vessel, is no longer yours alone to steer

And soon thereafter, drawn unto an astral field you go
wandering in a formless realm, where familiar sights
quickly disjoint the body from the soul
as once familiar songs, are belted out, in tongues foreign to the light

The thief moves about in the circles I had built, yet they can not tell the difference, the imposter’s presence goes unknown…perhaps, or so it seems, a case can be made to indicate, that both family and friends, appeared to like me more now, than they ever had, when It was I, comprising the definitions deep inside

And even when rapt in these songs of sin
no one noticed that these words were not mine,
were his seductive charms so aligned,
they couldn’t see the illusion buried beneath my skin?

His deception played upon the acts and thoughts
of others, stirring forth the definitions they wished to hear, that they wished I’d be
and as day’s continued, in this space I grew lost,
even questioning if I was better served with the beast controlling me

All I could do, was sing a Ballad of Foreign Astral Tongues:

Stop on over for another fantastic edition of Open Link Night at D'Verse, where verse is always on tap and the party grows each and every week.  While there you'll get to experience an exceptional variety of poetical stylings and most likely find yourself inspired to compose.  And when you do, link your poem on up and share in the fun.

Habitattered

She earned a few bad habits along the line,
Like the gentle gnawing
Upon the rims of glasses
Chipping enamel base inches deep
Often occasionally breaks off a piece
Placing teeth on ice.

Farmed out the favorite scene
Broke jaw from emulating her scream
Battle.

Sometimes I like to write as if I was a telegraph operator during times of peril.  Typically it’s a war-time recreation.  Dash.  Dash.  Dash.  And so forth…Would be fun.   Kind of like speaking.  In tongues..  A variance in interpretation…  Yet really only one connection…One line of thought…one message…Process or Ignore.

How often are the children instructed to brutalize their neighbors?

Are parents teaching little man and darling girl, about the benefits gained from bullying all those little poindexters, Urkels and Earls?
Is society to blame?
Oh, who gives a damn about freedom of speech anyway-not when censorship contains so much promise?

-Tell that to the parent of a victim, innocent bearing but one crime- birth in the wrong school district- Touché

Yeah, I think it would cool, returning to some postcard scene.  Flyboy’s beware I’ve played Last Starfighter tens of times before!

Back in the day.  I’d find people and tell them how their legacies panned out.  I’d locate all those misfits and those ahead of their times, those living in duress- and explain all the monumental changes that exist in the modern age.  I’d find Rosy and tell her she’d fit in great today.  I’d grab a coke and tell the soda jerk- that the formula changes, then changes back, then changes again, then changes again- but not quite where it originally was, then changes back to the failed formula, only to revert it’s taste once more, but offering a bit of a different packaging and placing classic underneath it’s logo.

I’d love to go to Vegas.  When it was all sand.  I’d grab a few and blow them to the wind.
