Outtakes From the Block File (Shaping Sounds)

I've been out of it the past few days.  I haven't had the time to really focus on much of anything, and writing happens to fall into this space.  However, as luck would have it, I still had a few words, Perimeter, Radii, Swelling and clay.  So from the last of the most recent session, here is the last outtake from the Block File.

Perimeter’s
Expanding
With every
Stretch

Circumference’s
Swelling
With all
Within

Diameter
Radii
Side to side

Symmetrical
Mound of clay
Forming
Asymmetrical
Sounds

Anger
Held in check
By foreign objects
Grasped by hand

Solution;
To the puzzling,
Equations of soul

Shut it down
Flip the switch
No, which, up, out
Dissolve
This acuteness
Of obtusely
Framed
Formulae

Outtake From the Block Files (Masquerader)

Didn't really have the time to write poetry today, so I'll revisit the Outtakes once again.

Masquerade
Illusions

Conquistadors
Of the metaphysical
Vouch for thee

Macabre
Daughters
Of the dancing appellation
Courting
Tomorrow’s rapture

Cloaked vixens
Feverishly pick
Cherrie-blossoms
Along the banks
Of frigid cricks

Removal of the veil
Reveals Neighbors that you know—
Yet never again will see the same

Outtake from the Block File( Violet Fringes)

A deluge
Of separation

 Anxieties
Glisten
The substructure
Of the beam

         An ascot
         Skitters neck

                  An orange
                  And the preconception
                           Of impossible rhyme
Incorrect
Yet scarlet
Though it seems

Violet                           Swiftly                          Tears
         Fringes                         Trading                        Immeasurably

A heart-oft hollowed-hulled by dream

This piece is new, yet many of the words in here appeared in randomness upon the various scraps of discard.  I simply chose to combine these, with a few additions, and this is what I got.  The violet fringes snaking text is as written in the discard file.  Thanks.

Outtake From The Block Files (Every Yet To Dream)

While dealing with my Writer's Block Stint, I wrote a whole many poems that just weren't up to snuff.  So I thought, seeing there really was a lot of these scraps laying around, that I should retool as many as I could, and so I created this Outtake From The Block Files.  This is the first.  The original was about 5 pages long, mainly prose.  Obviously you can tell there was a ton discarded.  Anyhow, here's the first of this series, one which I'll add to as I find the time to go through all that remains.

A painted archway above the seams
Speaks the story in mind for me
Dry as blank canvas,
Begging for light

To breathe

To wade
Without sanction

To immerse memory
With visions to come

Serendipity lives
Within every passage

Within every yet to dream
