Inner Scission

Viewings
of imbalance and
proportional depth
clutter first
then clot in
permanence

Space, tiny dots,
codes, freckles,
pips
turnstile
a-round
into void
less
optical incoherencies

Eversion shifts
ballast
two
instable
weights form….

Chaos in the Inventory (A Maelstrom in the Echo)

I live in a lonely world,
Blue steel shackled cold,

If I don’t speak,

No one will ever know,

There lives a world with everything you see and do,
And there is a world a blueprint of the first,

Yet in this second world we see,

A few, alarming distinguishing tells,

To separate, to correlate,

Each world knows not of the other,
Balance however must stay centered,

Symmetrical in design,

I stand alone in a world sublime,

Where radios play the different songs,

Playing simultaneously,

Where chaos and serenity

Become the opposite sides of a coin,

Or a mirror,

I live in between,
I am equilibrium,

I keep things aligned,

Moving from place to place,

I capture, return things that must not escape

If other things occur

I see the alternate receives the opposite

Parabola

Directrix unspoken
The focus less than clear
I shake the liquid from my ears
Regaining balance
Condemning arcs and curves

As children we are tagged
Like hunters do their prey
A mother clips a portion down,
Implanting sentiment
Sorting through the mind

So to this I ask,
If the sentiment is not ours to give,
How can we accept failure as our own?
Why are we responsible
When the construction never was our won?

Symmetry enchants me
Every time I think of you
The angles of your gradient
The wisdom in your frame
The obtuse relationship
The acuteness of attraction
Between us,  an equation I can’t fix

Balancing Act

Inside to outside,
 Whispers and shouts,
From the upstairs to the downside,
A kiss has many forms and shapes

Some like it hot, and others cold
Good and evil, Heaven and Hell
Lie to me and truths be told,

Some folk pray, while others prey,
Right and left and right or wrong,
The happy instrumental and the sad, sad song,

There’s the subtle and the dramatic, the shy to the fanatic,
For every synonym, an antonym will be in tow,
First to last, hit the brakes and go from fast to slow,
Between past and future, is the middle, the here and now,

Life’s a balancing act,
A love, hate relationship,
First comes sickness, then the cure,
From white and black to black and blue,
Life’s sometimes easy, yet often cruel,
Live yours in-between and you should do okay,
In the darkness, in the light, for each beginning, an ends in sight
