Unveiling premonitions

Ravaging the waking hours

With the addictions set in dream

Clarity is boring,

Facetious knowledge thrusts forward

As if the audience is nothing but a mass of ignorance

Collected in awe of your deepest recollections

The truth of emeritus is the dagger of gold in search of silver

     Vanity, a distraction to unparalleled degree

              Ask and you’ll be known as he who is without

                       Stare in silence and the curiosity will devour                                       you from the inside out.

We are there and here

We alone create our own definitions of fear

Colonial Candelabra

Dim resolutions preyed upon

Ergo the laughing gas

Anything important I could say

Is usually self contained

Self-Absorbed

Clinging on to memories is no way to push forward,

Remembering times shared and happy thoughts

Cannot forge a trail or alter whatever is next to come,

Reflections on past glories

Is no way to soothe the sting

Created from rejections taking place in the present

Tense I am, soaked and cold,

Trying my best to numb away the negative

With so many I don’t knows,

Answers are good and fine

But only work when you unite a question to its side

Without understanding

Without direction

You’re left standing

Without attraction

To those things you need the most

Looking in the mirror
