Center of Wealth: a gift of presence

A scathing lifeline descends upon the premise unnamed. As precious frayed, as it ever was first believed.

Finding one's center is never as simple as making a decision, a statement or declaration that says "I will find a grounding today"

Earth rests beneath.  immobile yet spanning a distance beyond the present scope of script.

nestled warm beneath one's root, too often becomes the occupation rather than the desire.

We travel expansive depths to share our blood unto the soils in which we sow our seeds within/upon

limitations are not endings.  chapters are intermeshed, entwined. codas everlasting.  Plots are open, free to challenge, to explore.  We are afar despite within our beds we sleep.  We are home in spite of the location of our presents find our blood within.

Limitations are bound only to this realm.  limitations have not been proven.  They are every only guesses garnered upon the soul by the souls of the untested

I have a story to tell.  It may not be of interest to anyone other than ghosts.  Yet I can speak to them.  That is, if I have the proper crystals to meditate upon. and if you'd hear them sing, then song would inspire you to locate future's boundaries yet unclaimed.

Darkness breaks before the dawn shimmers it's first quivering fragment of light.  Dawn glides gently into the blanketing surrounding of dusk, enveloping us in a deluge of evening that is as unique as it is not rare.

We move between many worlds.  We shift seamlessly in and out of.  We are unaware, yet knowledge does indeed subconsciously divide.

Fortune is not measured by coinage accrued.  if it did... well, many of us would be as poor in health as we are in walking daylight,

a burden. inhaling our castes. to haunt everlasting.

distorted then. askew. yet pierced with fire, singed by frozen blade. disoriented yet not afraid. for conscience bears wherewithal. A knowledge harnessed deep within. albeit brutal the manner to which our days be spent. regretfully, the tides may disencumber what's been made, what we've toiled our entire lives to find, work towards, and yet the tides may disencumber if deemed to constrain the growth our gardens had originally been planted for.

Solstitial flagellation is found and you know not the accepted course.  Stars scream as you encounter the laceration's of truth's gaze.
burrowing
burying
time's
loving
spell
deep
in-tune   to a silence that sleeps as peaceful as most lions wake

Indigo guidelines harbor the beacons evenly placed upon the placid calm.  Silent refrains echo from above, beneath.  Breath is abbreviated, yet full.  Eyes are clouded and murky, but see we do.  Touch is invisibly felt, yet immersed we thrive. words mean nothing when in-submission.  thoughts though, they build temples upon stars.

a grey net meshing collapses over our nestled tombs.  As if materials from this realm can ensnare those who walk the avenues unseen.

Eyes. alit. Reawakened. Whole. Renewed. Alive. free

Lifetimes are but a rambling of decades.  Decades a corroboration of years.  Years collect the seasons full.  Seasons take their wisdom from the months endured within.  months succumb to the days that fight direction.  Days are comprised of hours.  Hours then of minutes.  Minutes of seconds slipping silently yet not as slow as one would seem. Patience though is timeless
Presently oblivious
a present to the blind
unbroken/parallel
lines move
and our necks can see
forward, up and wide
as if movement was never meant to be, yet be, it does just the same

the spine straightens
and the ghosts
well, they remain….and that is fine
for they should not inspire fear
we should not run,
instead smile
invite them to the comfort that they seek
thank them always
for their presence
is a gift
that
only
the grounded can properly conceive.

Karin's opened up the bar and is at the helm of this week's Poetics at D'verse.  Stop on by, read her article and those poems written in response to her offering of Presents/Presence.

For me, I thought i'd do a guided stream of consciousness piece, that incorporates some eastern concepts while trying my best to stay as true as possible with this week's theme.

The Third Eye

Right, Left
Second sight
An affirmation came today

Third Eye
In the air,
Away from the river
Above the swell

Shows me my life
And I cry
Shows me my life
And I smile

Left, Right
Forever guided
By the third eye
Never known, only seen

Rinse & Cleanse

On the scuffle of soles
Marring the aftershock
Tears blend in two
Splitting like the center does

A wrap of thunder clasps the temple’s door
A shroud of wonder befalls the crutch adorned
Flip the switch
Flip the switch
And let the heaven’s dry (let the heaven’s weep tonight)

They say
That crying is cathartic
That you should get it out (get it out)

Guess you have to hit the bottom
Before you even attempt to climb away
Guess you have to all but die
Before you can learn to crawl again

Perhaps, perhaps it’s then true
That when the water begins
It’s at this point when, the healing mends
The holes in you, (making you whole again)

Maybe, just maybe then
There’s something to be said
For the sad songs and elegies
And the way their sorrow
Makes you forget your own (comforts your soul)

Rake it away
Take it away
Let the wash rinse and cleanse
         Allow the grief to go
         Let the teardrops flow
         Until healing distends

Vexations Be-Gone Somehow

Take a deep breath now
Inhale
Then…
Exhale… now
Inflate those lungs
Peak and plump
And let it out…1…2…3…and let it go… easy breaths…easy…
Taking all your worries and woes along with…
Repeat until completely… relaxed and in it refreshed…

I used to meditate
I used to breathe
I used to stretch
I used to grieve

I used to think
I used to muse
I used to ponder
I used to understand

Let the tension freely flow…and
Bask in the mood… now… let it glow…and
Feel the radiance… move slowly through you… from head to toes and all parts in between… all around you now…light…auras…halo spreads
With each breath of air…
Inhale slowly…  and  push it right out… send it away…steady…with ease…
You’ll feel
Relaxed and
Free

I used to read just to read
I glanced when (Sic) spread its legs
I used to enjoy the slow transition, from word to word, from page to page
I used to relax upon those spines, enamored how they felt to me

I used to converse for babblings sake
I used to listen and I would share
I’d be the type to love unconditional without regret or despair
I used to love how words would align time with mind

Close your eyes…picture the world above and beyond…
Watch the stars…reach out your arms…feel the texture of each point…
Look inward now…see your own…examine the connections…and breathe…1…2…3…watch the stars shining…brightness amongst the dark…  in doing point appear…in so many ways you ache to touch… now free your mind…move…slowly…breathe.  1…2…3…and run your hands…rough or smooth… now…
Find your scars and wipe them clean
With my voice hear your own…
Easy strokes brushing soft… bristles caressing pores and groove…
No rush to erase all at once…slowly sweep and breathe…1…2…3
When you’re ready…now, open your eyes…allow…and…
All demons will easily go

I used to believe
I used to want to
I used to understand
Or so I thought to
I used to seek answers
For impossible questions
I used to
I used to

This was well prior
Before unrest
Well before
I learned how easy it is to be ignored

So now… I still inhale
But words don’t relax
The way a vapor trails

Down the esophagus 1…2…
Straight laced line…soft and swift…
Into the stomach… pieces linger upon the lips..
And back through throat…a pleasured pain…
Kissing cheeks smooth it gleams…
Before exhaling… hold steady still… then release
In a cloudy grayish white…push all out…push it clear…breath the air… clean and pure…and watch the vapors sparse the light…and in so doing… breathe again…and watch
All vexation depart your sight

Well thought I'd do something a bit different once more.  This week I thought, for OLN over at D'Verse, I'd go ahead and breathe and then some...

Also, I'm planning on doing a few weekly programs on Youtube and also posting them on my creative site, Sqwerm.  Not sure all the details yet but will post well in advance.

My idea for the shows are

1. A review of my favorite poems each week.  As I've been going from site to site I take it all in, and am extremely impressed with what I've seen and thought it nice to read some.  Again not sure of all the logistics but that's one idea I had.

The second I really want to do, but will need a bit of assistance.  Each week I want to highlight a poet and speak briefly about their life/experience and read a few of their works.

The help I'll need is a brief write up regarding what the poet would like discussed about them.  Right now I'm thinking about a brief bio, a short talk on process, passions and finally what inspires them.  Then I think it best to allow the poet to pick 3 or 4 pieces they'd like read.

Anyhow, if you're interested in being featured on this second program.  drop me a comment with a way I can get in touch further, many have twitter so DM's there may work well initially.

But, if you're going to leave a comment about this poem itself, leave 2, as I really don't want to post anything that may be considered personal, i.e. contact info, on the blog itself, but still would want to post the comment on the poem.  So simply leave a second comment, which won't be posted and I'll get in touch.

Again no set timetable yet.  Just thought I'd throw it out there and see what kind of attention it gets.  Thought it would be nice, so we'll see.  Thanks again.
